Welcome to Mama Bakery!

Established in 2015, Fat Mama Bakery is founded by 4 sisters to make their beloved mum’s wish come true. These 4 sisters kept making fun of their mother for her chubby size by calling her Fat Mama, hence the origin of the name.

With over 20 years of experience in baking, Fat Mama can make any pastry taste like heaven. The 4 sisters grew up enjoying all sorts of pastries and cakes made with love, especially the Pineapple Tarts(凤梨酥)! Talking of tarts, that’s also how the best-selling le Bite (一口酥) is inverted by the 4 sisters back in 2015!

Endless orders came since the establishment of the bakehouse. As Fat Mama insists on strictly controlling the production process, all of our pastries are made with the finest ingredient available to us. We take pride in using only fresh ingredients, with no preservatives, flavouring or trans fat.

Fate sure loves to play tricks on us. On May 2019, Fat Mama had left us. Her wish to opening a bakery became her last wish. As 4 of the sisters each have their own business to take care of, the bakehouse had to be closed. As time went by, the 4 sisters are reluctant to let their mother’s wish came to an end. They decided to collaborate to continue Fat Mama Bakery. Switching from seasonal pastries to yearly favourites, the 4 sisters will continue to bake & innovate to bring the sweet flavour of Fat Mama to everyone.
