THE ORIGIN
About Fatmama
Founded in 2015, Fatmama began as a way for four sisters to fulfil their mother’s dream — to share her handmade pastries with the world.
Growing up, they were surrounded by the warmth of her baking. From buttery treats to their favourite pineapple tarts, every recipe was a reflection of her love. The name “Fatmama” comes from the sisters’ playful nickname for their mum — a name that now carries deep meaning and affection.
A Dream Continued Through Butter Cookies
Before she passed in 2019, their mother was developing a butter cookie recipe — one she hoped to bring to market someday.
She never got the chance.
After her passing, the sisters made a decision:
to complete what she started.
More Than a Bakery
Today, Fatmama’s butter cookies are more than just a product.
They are a continuation of her passion — carefully refined, lovingly baked, and shared with others just as she once intended.
Alongside this, the signature One Bite Series (一口酥) remains a customer favourite, known for its delicate texture and rich flavour.
We believe in doing things the right way — using only premium ingredients, with no preservatives. Every tin is baked fresh, with care and consistency.
